Current League Guidelines
These rules are unique to the current league, and are subject to change at the start of each league. Please ensure you also know the rules.General
- Three players from the team roster must be present and ready to play within 15 minutes of the start of the game in order to avoid a forfeit, and at least 1 of these players must be a woman.
- Teams are allowed to pick-up one person and one person only.
- Two A graders maximum for 5 aside social, three for 7 aside social. An A grader for is currently defined as a player who has played in two or more A grade outdoor events (local leagues or A grade level Nats) AND has played ultimate for 2 years or more at any level. OR if you've played overseas at club or university level for two or more years. Please be spirited.
- Each team has 2 timeouts of two minutes per game. However, in the social grade, competition teams can also stop play to explain rules to newer players.
- 7 A-side games have a half-time. This should be called when the first team reaches 9 points.
- Keeping score is the responsibility of both teams. If there are any disputes please settle them in an appropriate manner.
- It is up to the captains to enforce the above rules and resolve any issues on the night. Remember the spirit!!
