New Zealand Under 19 Ultimate boys and girls teams faced Australia

At the beginning of October the two NZ U19 teams faced off against the Australian U19 in the first ever Trans-Tasman U19s Championship.  The players have spent the last six months training hard and it was exciting to see each team come together to represent their country in an exciting three game series.
 
Both teams coped with the wet and windy conditions admirably with some games going to universe point.

Kahu, the NZ U19 girls, and Katipo, the NZ U19 boys, both put on an impressive show and each team took the series in a clean sweep 3-0.

Well done to all involved and we would like to congratulate all of our Wellington under 19′s!

The Wellington athletes involved were Ella Notman, Danielle Paul, Saravinder Pannu, Tamsin Fitzgerald, Marah Neal, Liam Haberfield, Isaac Jones, Jonathan Jackson and Matt Richardson.
