Ultimate in the schools

Hello WDS ultimate community,
 
Lately we have been revitilising the schools system and it is going better than ever. What we now need is for enthusiastic people to go into local schools and help run P.E. classes. This would mean going into schools during P.E. time and coaching.

We also need fellow Ultimate players to help coach in the schools league. At the moment we have been going into many schools that are interested in having a team but they have no-one who can coach the kids once they are hooked.

You don't need to be a superstar or even be any good at ultimate, you just need to be able to give up some of your time and want to help.

Also if you do feel like you need some pointers we have a coaches training day on Saturday 24 September at 1pm on Wellington High's fields or Wellington High's gym if its wet. We have also just developed a basic coaching manual with tips and drills to help you coach.

We are also willing to reimburse you a little for your time and effort.
