12Q1 Registrations Open
We are continuing with the new leagues structure introduced for the first summer season. We will assess what worked and what wasn’t so successful at the end of the summer leagues.
Once registrations are closed (i.e. by midnight on 14 Jan), if there are more registrations than playing space I will draw team names from a hat to determine which registrations will be unsuccessful. (Partial rosters will only be accepted if the league is not already filled by teams who submitted completed rosters). I will inform teams about whether their registration has been successful by Monday 16 January. Individual entrants (for the women’s and men’s leagues) will be notified once teams have been compiled.
Registration and payments
To register for the Monday and Tuesday leagues you must have a team created on the website and there must be players on that team. Once the 12Q1 league has started the roster on the website will be considered the team roster. However, because teams with the same name will change rosters between seasons, please fill out the roster form for each team you wish to register and email it to Vic Johns, the Leagues Coordinator.
The roster must include contact details for the captain (the email and cellphone numbers will be shared with other captains, to allow for quicker contact in event of defaults).
To register for the men’s league please fill out the survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QTKF6XX.
To register for the women's league please fill out the survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/QTCNJQX.
Teams with outstanding league fees from previous leagues won't be accepted into the next league.
Once I have finalised teams, team Captains (or individuals for draft leagues) will receive an invoice. Payment will be due within two weeks of receiving the invoice. After this two week period there will be a $50 penalty fee for teams with unpaid fees, and a $10 penalty fee for individuals in the draft leagues.
Other information
There will be a mandatory meeting for all team Captains on the first league night at 6pm at Martin Luckie. If the captain can't attend for some reason, a team must still send a representative. I don't expect this meeting to last too long. We will quickly go through the league rules and regulations, and discuss the draw format, and a few other bits and pieces.
Please familiarize yourself with the game rules and the outdoor league regulations.
As with the last season, we will not be providing game discs.
